Doug Henke, FFA advisor at Boonville High School in Missouri, says he became an agricultural education teacher because FFA had such a positive impact in his life and he wanted to give back to youth in agriculture today. He talks about what he has learned from his students (patience) and describes how his FFA members sometimes surprise him. Doug received an Honorary American FFA Degree‒Teacher at the 2014 National FFA Convention & Expo.
