This week we are celebrating An Irishman Abroad's 100th episode. Recorded in front of a sold out crowd at every comic's favourite venue, The Stand, Jarlath chats to the most successful act at the Edinburgh Fringe, Jason Byrne. Together they discuss his twenty years at the top of the Fringe, being a self-trained 'electrician', his days spent performing comedy sketches while serving customers with PJ Gallagher before telling some of the hilarious stories that have come out of being accident prone.
Jason also talks about what went wrong with his BBC sitcom Father Figure, putting on a performance while suffering inside, the importance of surrounding oneself with the right people, lying to journalists, narrowly escaping jail time in Dubai and balancing family time with his commitments to his audience.
