Join us as Pastor Samuel delivers the message entitled, "1 Corinthians 6 Civil litigation at Corinth."
Notes
Roman law prohibited a lower-class person from suing an upper-class person. However, an upper-class person could sue a lower-class person and a person of the same class could sue his or her peers. It was believed that some of the members of the Corinthians church were Roman Magistrates. Apparently, suing someone was a commonality in Greek culture. Paul by Holy Spirit needed to address the polemic of suing fellow brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of their social class. Bible Study Notes are available at wocmhighsprings.com
