Cecelia Ahern is one of Ireland's most celebrated writers having sold over 24 million books while the film adaptation of her novel P.S. I Love You took in a staggering $156 million at the box office. Cecelia joined Jarlath while in London this week promoting her new book The Marble Collector to talk about her battle with anxiety, the story behind her first book deal, being managed by Louis Walsh, pitching Samantha Who and how she still manages to write at least one book a year.
Cecelia explains the circumstances which led to her almost walking out of a Late Late Show appearance at the very last second, the criticism she constantly receives from her publishers and how she had 10 pitches rejected last year while still remaining at the top of her game.
