Kate Davis MS, RD, CSSD, LDN is a registered dietitian who is board-certified as a specialist in sports nutrition and the owner of RDKate Sports Nutrition, located in Naperville, IL. Kate teaches athletes what to eat, when to eat it and when to supplement on training days, competition days and every other day. Kate has previously consulted with middle school, high school, NCAA Division I, II & III, Olympic, NFL and NBA athletes. She has worked at both IMG Training Academy in Bradenton, Florida and at Michigan State University. Kate does not sell supplements, but acts as an independent advisor to athletes looking for no-nonsense, science-based recommendations. Kate has been quoted in several media outlets such as Chicago Athlete, Competitive Runner and Runner’s World magazines and writes for Freeplay Magazine and the USA Triathlon blog.
Her work with athletes includes teaching them to use food to help them lose body fat, increase muscle, strength and power and improve overall performance. More specifically, Kate helps young athletes understand how to eat out intelligently, what to eat pre-,post-, and during workouts and how to put meals together to enhance their performance goals.
