It's Episode 76 with Kjerstine Rose Anderson, who plays Emma Goldman in ACT Theatre's current collaborative production of Steven Sondheim and John Weidman's Assassins, with the 5th Avenue Theatre. Assassins, directed by John Langs, imagines the interactions of America's successful and attempted presidential assassins, and looks at parallels among these historical characters. We talk about the relevance of this musical in today's political climate, and how it makes us consider our second amendment rights. We also talk about how the irreverence and humor in the production affect us as audience members. Assassins runs through May 8, and tickets are available through ACTtheatre.org.
