The Lord's Prayer in Tamil:

பரமண்டலங்களிலிருக்கிற எங்கள் பிதாவே,

உம்முடைய நாமம் பரிசுத்தப்படுவதாக;

உம்முடைய ராஜ்யம் வருவதாக; உம்முடைய சித்தம் பரமண்டலத்திலே செய்யப்படுகிறதுபோல பூமியிலேயும் செய்யப்படுவதாக.

எங்களுக்கு வேண்டிய ஆகாரத்தை இன்று எங்களுக்குத் தாரும்.

எங்கள் கடனாளிகளுக்கு நாங்கள் மன்னிக்கிறதுபோல எங்கள் கடன்களை எங்களுக்கு மன்னியும்.

எங்களைச் சோதனைக்குட்படப்பண்ணாமல், தீமையினின்று எங்களை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளும், ராஜ்யமும், வல்லமையும், மகிமையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உம்முடையவைகளே, ஆமென், என்பதே.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: NHM Ministrants has embarked on a project to bring The Lord's Prayer to the web in as many languages as possible, as well as offer suggestions of how the prayer might be used to promote harmony between different cultures. We named this project "Voices Home" because all the voices - no matter how different sounding - are all calling homeward (to God, Our Father) with the same prayer. Beneath skin-deep differences and language barriers, there is a common humanity. There are many ways to use these resources as a bridge... see our site for ideas. By celebrating our shared humanity in a way that expands our outlook, we all move a step closer to realizing this shared hope for a better tomorrow. Our thanks to you, our visitors, for all you do as a voice for peace in the world. Special thanks to everyone who has helped us gather languages or whose prayers are helping this project take wing.
