voice actor, singer and founder of The Voice Actors Studio in Las Vegas.
Melissa shares how it all began for her from loving commercials as a
kid, to being a cruise director on a cruise ship that lead to meeting
her husband of 18 years, to discovering her love of voice over in a
University of Las Vegas course with Alice Whitfield.
As the
voice of Ashley Furniture, Best Western and Meaningful Beauty, Melissa
talks about the process of making her new promo demo with Chuck and
Stacey and the amazing promo gig she booked from it for The Ellen Show.
Melissa
explains the daily investment she makes to build her business including
reaching out to companies and that a voice talent is responsible for
the success of their career, believing that you get out of it what you
put into it.
A walking example of what happens when you believe
in yourself, Melissa chooses to focus on the possibilities and her
strengths and shares the inspiring, touching story of how being creative
and doing what she loves everyday helped her beat cancer.
