126: Vision 2020 with Matt Jones

 

Today, I am talking with Matt Jones, the Chief of Staff for the Georgia Department of Education.

He is a former teacher and technology director from Toombs County, Georgia.

We get a chance to talk about what he does as Chief of Staff as well as what he liked most about working with kids as a teacher.

 

 

The focus of our talk is on the initiative Vision 2020. According to Matt, "It captures where we want to go as a state."

 

 

We talk about several of the key elements of Vision 2020 and Matt explains the point and purpose of each.
