Those Living According to the Flesh, Can't Please God

Topic of discussion is a continuation of "To Be Carnally Minded Brings Spiritual Death pt. 2" Romans 8:6-13

Since the time of the fall in the Garden of Eden, all of humanity has had to deal with a nature with a bent towards wrong doing, the sin nature. After Salvation, we as Christians have to look to the Cross exclusively for the Power of the Holy Spirit to put to death the residue of what this sinful nature produced before our Salvation experience, namely unrighteous activity as well as the power which sin had over our mind, will and emotions (soul). To view things from a human perspective or according to the flesh, will bring about a Spiritual death or separation from the life and power of God here on earth.

By exclusively trusting in the Cross of Christ, this gives the Holy Spirit the ability to move on your behalf to give you and I Victory. We must be willing to allow this change to take place in our lives daily. Many of us are trying to live a Holy life by the power of human strength and ability which brings forth defeat. Not by our power nor our might, but by the Spirit of God!
