This week USEF Senior dressage judge, Kathy Rowse, shares some of her pet peeves and advice from a judge’s point of view. In the education segment, we have the final section on strategic planning for riders; and in our third segment, we continue our American Legends series with a look at the 2002 Roemer Foundation/USDF Hall of fame recipient, Lazelle Knocke.
Kathy Rowse, Suffolk, VA, owns and operates Silverleaf Farm with her husband Mike. Kathy is a USEF “S” dressage Judge, USDF L Program faculty member, and member of the USEF Youth Committee. She is a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalist who has coached numerous students to their USDF medals.
Jen Verharen, Vashon, WA, is an L graduate with distinction, a USDF certified Instructor, USDF Bronze & Silver Medalist, USPC graduate A, USPC National Examiner, and certified Health and Wellness Coach. Her business, Cadence Coaching, specializes in providing performance coaching and business training for equestrians.
