Christ is the End of the Law For Righteousness to Him that Believes pt. 2

Topic of discussion is a continuation of "For Christ is the End of the Law for Righteousness to Everyone Who Believes" Romans 10:4, Romans 7, Hebrews 10:9

The Purpose of the Law or the Ten Commandments, were never given for us to try to obtain them in our strength and ability. The Law was given to show man that he was a sinner and needed a Savior in order to keep God's commandments.
After the death of Christ, He fulfilled the Law so that it might be established in us as we exhibit faith in His atonement. Romans 8. What we must understand as Believers, is that the Law of God was never to be binding upon the New Testament Church. What I am finding in the body of Christ is that we preach the Message of the Cross in order that people may give their lives to Christ but fail to continue to teach the Cross for daily deliverance and Victory.

We teach people that in order to be changed by God we must work for Him. Law is when we create rules or standards to live by according to our human strength and ability instead of the Power of the Holy Spirit working in us to remove the lust of the flesh, pride of life, and the lust of the eyes. Many of us as Christians are afraid of ceasing from our labor in order that we must sit at His (Christ) feet and learn how to overcome sin, self, the world and Satan. There is no amount of efforts/works in which we can do to please God other than simply believe in what His Son has already afforded to us at Calvary!
