----more----Our guest is Kathryn Dewitt. She conquered high school like an Olympic athlete. She ran track, represented her school at statewide girls’ leadership program and took 8 Advanced Placement tests. During her first year in college, she was part of the statistic above. However, she is now a rising Senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Psychology.
During a year-long leave of absence, she interned with Active Minds National in Washington D.C., volunteered at the informational HelpLine at the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI), and worked as a Segway tour guide on the National Mall. Through her personal experiences, she has become committed to changing the way that the world discusses mental health, suicide, and LGBTQ.
