'The Apprentice' for Real

Arguably, Donald Trump is president today because of a popular television reality show in which he regularly “fired” people who did not measure up. It’s high time he really does that to a number of unworthy subordinates.

Top of the list for such action are holdovers from the Obama administration who have, inexplicably, been allowed to run its successor.  Never mind that Candidate Trump explicitly pledged to repudiate the Obama legacy – something its authors cannot be relied upon to do. 

Then there’s one of the President’s regrettable choice as his National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster. Literally from Day One in the job, McMaster has insubordinately defied his boss on everything from naming our jihadist enemies to committing ground forces in Syria to certifying Iranian compliance with the fraudulent Obamabomb deal.  

It’s time for Donald Trump to tell McMaster: “You’re fired.”
