Las "116 páginas perdidas" es la parte que falta en el manuscrito del Libro de Mormón. Martin Harris, escriba de José Smith, pidió llevar a su casa la parte del manuscrito que había sido traducido con el fin de convencer a su esposa de la autenticidad del Libro de Mormón. José se negó, pero después aceptó que el señor Harris se llevara el manuscrito a su casa. Tres semanas después, Harris regresó a José Smith y le dijo que había perdido las 116 páginas del manuscrito. José Smith reescribió el Libro de Lehi. Las 116 páginas "perdidas" nunca fueron recuperadas.
