A homily for the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A), by Father Darrin Connall: Purgatory is like the “mud room” to the mansion of heaven where we are cleansed of our sinful inclinations that cling to us after we die. By our prayers, we assist our loved ones who are being purified by God to be welcomed where “nothing unclean shall enter” (cf. Rev. 21:27).
Recorded live at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
