The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will be the first EU leader to take part in a debate about the future of Europe in the European Parliament this morning. Mr Varadkar will take questions from the MEPs following his address which is due to start at nine thirty Irish time (9:30). The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says MEPs are interested in hearing from the Taoiseach and that it’s a good thing that an Irish leader is kicking off the debate on Europe’s future.
