038 Arland Nichols: St. John Paul II Foundation

The Mystery of Parenthood is a show on RED-C Catholic Radio, headquartered in College Station, Texas. On Tuesday, January 30, 2018, host Trey Cashion was joined by Arland Nichols, the president and founder of the St. John Paul II Foundation. Arland gave an overview of the foundation's mission and especially highlighted the various couples conferences that it hosts throughout the year. During their conversation, Trey and Arland reflected in depth on the value of parents who never stop forming themselves and looking for ways to grow in their spirituality. The two agreed that these parents will in turn assist their children, who will follow after their virtuous examples. Our memory verse this week is a quote from St. John Paul II: "As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live. Do not abandon yourselves to despair.
