This week on The Bar Star Podcast I’m hanging out with the one and only Jesse Vest. Jesse is the current bass player for the Louisville Crashers but he’s had an interesting music career. Jesse was a founding member of Days Of The New and they got a record deal when Jesse was fresh out of high school. We talk about what it was like to tour with Metallica when Jesse was just 20 years old! He has seen and done far more than most of us can imagine and he looks back on that time in his life with a distant fondness. This episode was so cool because Jesse rarely talks about his time in Days Of The New or Tantric so I’m sure you guys will dig this as much as I did.
Social Media Issues – Jesse is in Facebook recovery…
Stories From The Stage – Two scary security guards and a poor soul.
What Am I Listening To? Jesse is into many things, but he talks about Joe Jackson, Steely Dan and “those howlin’ women” he listens to.
