Daily Devotional By Archbishop Foley Beach
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Message Summary Can we tell what God is up to in our world, in our time, in our church, and in Our Country? Are we a part of what God is doing, or are we just reacting to what God is doing – thereby, creating conflict and division? Paul, in 1 Corinthians 5:4, promise us the impact of the presence of the Holy Spirit on our personal lives and the lives of our communities: “When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus.”. When the Lord is leading, and directing, it seems that we are wrapped up in our agenda and our way of doing things; therefore, we miss God’s presence – we miss the Holy Spirit.
Today’s Affirmation: Today, Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Past Failures. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Grace. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
