Much to Wayne's consternation and outright objection, the guys this week count down the best 10 horror films of all time. Yes, after losing the Oscars bet (see Episode 48 for the result), Wayne makes good on his pledge to go with a show chosen by Paul, and of course, this meant the show was always going to be about his beloved horror genre. Recognising this could be something of a problem, the boys therefore invited along another horror lover, Jarrod, to guest host the show.
The three start by reviewing new release The Conjuring 2, directed by local boy made good, James Wan. Then it's time to end Wayne's misery watching horror film after horror film as he offers a list which non-horror movie lovers might very well find something worthwhile on; while Paul and Jarrod bring the genre cred with their mix of old school and hardcore horror. And, to be fair, Wayne even manages to give a good account of himself - right up until he talks about Demon Knight (1995) as being "really scary"...
The first #PodernFamily promo spun in this episode is for The Rock Show with Gully and Joe @rockshowonline
Then, of course, there's also a promo for those most excellent gentlemen, Nick and Justin aka The Epic Film Guys. Nick, of course, covered for Wayne in his absence so go back to check out those episodes (54-56). And then show the guys some love by rating, subscribing and reviewing this amazing show at https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/epic-film-guys-podcast/id1027239734?mt=2 and checking out the EFG’s website at http://epicfilmguys.podbean.com/ from where you can now also buy their sweet new T-shirts!
