Nehemiah (Part 5) - The Bait Of The Enemy

In my experience in ministry, there is one scheme in which the devil likes to use more than any other! One that is effective for his purpose more than any other! That scheme is to bait Christians in order to lure us away from the work of Christ, our purpose for Christ, and our position in Christ! He does not always attack inside the walls, for if he sees a work being done that cannot be stopped through mere force, he will seek to lure us away through worldliness and fleshly desires to isolate us from the Brethren, and distract us from our mission for Heaven! Anything serves as bait, as it is the good things, even gifts of God, that carry the greatest degree of possible deception to lure you from Kingdom agenda! Jobs, family, friends, fun, feelings, or just a busyness in general, are all things which the devil loves to use as bait in his tacklebox of tricks to stop the work of Christ, both in you, and through you! We Brethren, must not allow him to bring us down from accomplishing the work of Heaven! Too much is at stake, and any form of "looking back" is considered cowardice to the Kingdom of Heaven...and there is no place for cowards in Heaven!
