FUCK PERCENTAGES!

 

The apostle Paul said, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8)

 

Paul doesn’t mention one feeling in this list! 

 

Feelings:

Different Worried, Exhausted

Crazy alone Helpless Hopeless

Damaged Alert Suspicious

Afraid, guilty withdrawn

Judged hurt lonely 

Empty Suicidal angry

Self pitying, closed off,

depressed, pitied, stuck

Misunderstood, ashamed, agitated 

Stupid, lost, wounded overwhelmed 

 

 

F*#$ percentages… do you want to live or die? Then focus on that!

*Col. 3:2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

 

Things: Conditions experiences and circumstances.

 

Don’t get caught up letting your mind think on circumstances and define your spiritual walk - RATHER - get your mind on Heavenly things (what God’s word says) and think on those things and let that define your life!
