Trainer, a person who trains people (coach, instructor, teacher, tutor)
Three evaluations of Law Enforcement (LE) training. 1. Adminstrative areas of instruction declared by the agency for the ranks. 2. State Objectives, area to be covered as mandated by State rules for LE officers. 3. Federal, areas of training with any condition indicated by the U.S. Department of Justice. Examples (Oversight, Court Order, or Condition on funding)
Trainer: Instruction on students in basic, advanced and specialized law enforcement classes, courses, seminars and workshops at the Training Academy or satellite training sites.
Utilizes diverse instructional methodologies based upon proven adult learning principles while presenting and incorporating classroom and practical, scenario-based performance outcome training programs.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires the physical ability to perform law enforcement training related tasks and exercises.
