(Giving a Reason for Our Hope in Jesus)
“How Will This Be?”
(Lk.1:34-38)
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Lk.1:34-35)
Welcome to the Holy-days of wonder, awe, and mystery! The Incarnation is about what God was doing in sending Jesus to rescue us. Today, we explore Mary’s inquiry, “How will this be?” as she sought to understand the inner-workings of God’s plan and His assignment for her. Can you give a reason for your hope and peace in Jesus this Christmas?

Revelation Assurance- God acts to keep His Word.
His character leads to fulfillment of His promises.
By obeying by faith (v.38)- “I am the Lord’s servant (slave- doulos)”
Willingness of heart. Service is the heart of obedience in action.
