MESSAGE SUMMARY: We have eternal life through God’s Son, Jesus. When we do not have the Son of God, we do not have eternal life; but when we have the Son of God, we have eternal life. Jesus’ death and Resurrection not only transforms our lives; His death transforms our deaths – the grave is no longer the end. Cancer is not the end and getting old is not the end. As Paul tells us in Romans 5:18-19: “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.". Our decision for how we lead our earthly life determines both the end states of our remaining earthly life and our eternal life – either our lives are with God or without God.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will trust in the Lord with all my heart. I will trust in the Lord with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I will seek to know Him, and He will make my pathways straight. (From Proverbs 3:5f).
