This episode is about our inability to end the battles waged in our past. We focus on Hirō Onada, who was a former Japanese army intelligence officer who fought in World War II, and did not surrender until 1974. We make the connection between Hirō and ourselves because Hirō ignored all of the signs, just like we often do, that the war was over and it was time to move on but the evidence received was insufficient. Moving on from past battles is hard and sometimes we need the right source to tell us that it's okay to move on and move forward so we hope you enjoy this one!
