The High Calling

Philippians 2:1-11

• the p_____________________ of Christian living … “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."

"if" could be translated "since" or "In view of the fact"

• Is there any encouragement from being united to Christ?

Discovering that being a child of God is adequate c_________________

• Is there any "comfort from His love?

The moment that Christ ceases to be real to us, we lose our affection for others!

 

Experiencing the L_____ ___ _____ casts out all of those self-seeking aspects of self-love.

• Is there any fellowship in the Spirit

'fellowship' means a joint p_____________.... there must be unity and like-mindedness.

• Is there any tenderness and compassion?

“for my s_________ will bear witness with His S_______” … this is the evidences of real spiritual life

Make my joy complete...  that is,

"fill it to the point of o________________",

"Let this mind BE in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."

... God exalted Him to the Highest place, and gave Him a name that is above every name.... And at that name every knee shall bow... then every tongue shall confess That Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
