The Shugborough Inscription is a mysterious sequence of letters carved into the 18th century Shepherd's Monument in the grounds of Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire, England. It is a mirror image of the Shepherd's of Arcadia by Nicolas Poussin under which it is carved.
