British plans for tariffs in the event of a no-deal Brexit come as no surprise.
That’s the view of Dublin MEP Brian Hayes.
While no EU goods arriving from the south of Ireland, that remain in the North will be subject to tariffs, Irish exports to Britain will feel the impact.
The Irish Farmers Association say it would be a disastrous scenario if the regime was introduced.
Fine Gael MEP for Dublin , Brian Hayes believes the EU will likely impose similar tariffs on UK goods, in the event there is no deal.
