The EU should agree to any request from Britain to extend Article 50, in order to avoid the UK crashing out of the European Union in two weeks time.
That’s the message from Ireland South MEP Sean Kelly.
Earlier, the European Council President Donald Tusk said he would be appealing to the EU 27 leaders, ahead of a summit next week, to be open to a long extension.
British MPs will vote later on whether to delay Brexit beyond March 29th.
