Come to Vergas for a pancake feed and try out many different local syrups entered in this year's competition. Later visit Maplewood State Park for a syrup production demonstration at the Sugar Shack! Tom's family has lived in Lakes Country for many generations and his grandfather operated a lumber mill many years ago. It was a family tradition to tap Mapletrees on their land and gather for syrup production. He will share stories and explain how you can begin making syrup yourself.
