0071 - Interview with Sarah Irwin: WORKING THROUGH SORROW, SELF SABOTAGE, THE COMPARISON TRAP and FINDING YOUR TRUE SELF
Sarah Irwin is a respected and well-known intuitive mentor, healer, and yoga instructor from small town Ontario, Canada. Having her intuitive gifts noticed early in childhood, her abilities to sense earth, human and man-made energies became second nature to her. After disconnecting from her gift as she entered her teen years, it wasn’t until the separation from her husband in 2015 when she began seeking out ways to heal herself from the inside out. Her soul searching and intuition guided her to her first Shamanic training in Massachusetts where at the same time she completed her Yoga Alliance Certified 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. Feeling truly alive and experiencing firsthand the correlation between her own healing and the healing of her family surrounding her, she began her mission; empowering others to become their best, most authentic versions of themselves. In the past year Sarah has spoken at Women's Wild(her) events, lead yoga classes at festivals, and assisted Fire Walk Ceremonies internationally.
Being a witness to her family and friends battles with mental health, and while experiencing PTSD symptoms herself, Sarah has actively taken a role helping end the mental health stigma. She is continuously involved in various events raising awareness for Mental Health and the importance of self-care. If your wanting to catch a yoga class Sarah currently teaches weekly out of Shakti Rhythm Yoga Studio in Kincardine, Ontario.
