Charlie House@CharlieHouseHQ - Children's Charity is stepping up the fund raising pace by calling for hopeful volunteers to come to auditions. These auditions will select suitable candidates to don the Charlie Dog Mascot Costume. Candidates must be 5 ft 7 " high and able to even do light gymnastics while in costume. Friends are needed to direct Charlie Dog as he visits different places and helps to raise money for a specialist support centre. Auditions are being held at Inchgarth Community Centre. @inchgarthcc
Two First Aberdeen@FirstAberdeenbus drivers have been shortlisted for the Scottish Transport Awards to be held later this year. Driver Paul McLeod made sure a seriously ill passenger was brought back to life by restoring breathing. Driver Clare Munro helped an elderly passenger who fell off the bus.

Ryan Bannerman has won a Saltire Award through his work with Future Choiceswho themselves are celebrating over 10 years for helping people in need. He put in 50 hours with the community. He was inspired by his brother Lewis who has made a video documentary. Ryan wants to ensure homeless people are given a meal. To do this he is collecting MacDonalds Monopoly Tokens which can be exchanged for a meal. He is aiming to beat last years total of 150 tokens. He is being given help by Future Choices and Aberdeen Street Friends.
