Daily Devotional By Archbishop Foley Beach
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
MESSAGE SUMMARY: Often, when God gives you a vision to start a ministry or to witness through your life, as a follower of Jesus, to your coworkers or whatever he wishes for you, you may think that it’s too small or inconsequential. However, then you must remember Jesus’ Parable of the Mustard Seed (Mathew 13:31-32 – “. . . a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree . . .”. From this parable, we learn that God will take what He asks you to do and multiply it many times. You can be sure, like Paul tells us in Romans 8:28,that when you question God’s call in your life that He walks with you as you strive to meet His expectations: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Hatred. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Love. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
