Berta Berriz’s story is a journey that takes us to a time when she was a little girl in La Habana, Cuba, listening to her grandmother's stories, and how those stories helped her overcome later on the challenges she faced as an immigrant child in the USA. She recounts in BibliObservatory the legends, historic episodes, and poetry that have shaped her, empowered her, and inspired her.
