Jerome Walton & Dwight Smith - The Rookie & The Runner Up (censored)
The 1989 Chicago Cubs season was one of the most exciting in the past 50 years. Highlighting the season was the Cubs second National League Eastern Division championship with a record of 93-69. The Cubs had all-star seasons from Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Rick Sutcliffe and Mitch Williams. But the catalysts of the team were rookie outfielders Jerome Walton and Dwight Smith. In addition to setting the table for the other great hitters in the lineup, they finished first and second in rookie of the year voting. If you can't remember who won, don't worry, they will tell you. This version of the show is censored as there is some very colorful language in the other version.
