Video games are incredibly accessible nowadays as we have so many different ways of getting access to them. We can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and get access to a library, buy a month of PlayStation Now to stream them or take advantage of a Steam sale to buy games at insanely low prices. Oh, you can buy them physically as well! Kind of. Although we can still buy most games in physical form, but of them require downloads or updates that leave the disc largely useless if you don’t have an internet connection. This has sparked outrage among a divided gamer community as we are left to decide… do we embrace a digital future or attempt to keep physical media.
