Just as these things are necessary for these areas of life, when it comes to talking about God, we do need to know and be capable of understanding who God is to some degree to be able to relate this to others. And, this is the basis for all religious expressions like that found in the catechism. For we are capable of both knowing and explain God to others, although imperfectly. And that is why we have this podcast and have the Catholic Catechism.
