Ari Aster's first movie, Hereditary, was a sleeper horror hit. Now he follows that up with 2019's Midsommar. Written and directed by Aster, he takes us on a strange yet colorful journey through a trippy Swedish Solstice festival. 

Midsommar is a master class in filmmaking, technically sound, and amazingly shot. It is not a perfect film by a long shot, but it was a worthy follow up to his first film.

The fiends break down every aspect of Midsommar, and tell you how Aster balances the line of genius and mad man at the same time.
