We have been selling lake life since 1966 with Jack Chivers coming to Detroit Lakes as a sales agent that year. From jet skiing in the summer to snowmobile racing in the winter he found himself living lake life year-round. In 1980 Jack founded his own real estate agency and over the years his company name become an icon for recreational real estate sales in West Central Minnesota.
In 2014, Dirk Ockhardt bought the brand. Jack retired from the company and Dirk has since transformed a traditional real estate brokerage to a never before seen lifestyle platform about lake life.
