Jacob shares how sleep was key to his performance. They typically would sleep on gym or church floors.
He states that when you burn over 6 thousand calories/day that food intake is critical and how he managed this intake demand with his allergies to dairy and wheat.
Jacob shares that his formula for success was to establish and maintain a steady cadence. He says that from this strategy his body was able to optimally perform to include maintaining a steady heart rate and minimize calorie burn. He realized that after he hit day 21 that his body was prepared for riding each day.
Jacob highlights that this was an experience of a lifetime, and was very grateful for the support of his team.
