Dr. Rosenthal is the Editor-in-Chief of Kaiser Health News and the author of the bestselling book “An American Sickness: How Healthcare Became Big Business and How You Can Take It Back.” She covered health care and environmental issues for the New York Times for 22 years. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Medical School and practiced emergency medicine in New York City before transitioning to journalism.
