Being an entrepreneur is a lonely and stressful gig.  And one of the most lonely and stressful lines of work is that of a contractor.  Nobody ever teaches you how to manage employees, manage customers, manage your books, manage your finances, your purchasing, your taxes, your competitors, you market.  It's a big job and quite often it lands all on your shoulders alone.  And nobody teaches us how to deal with it all emotionally and physically.

Jim Demeray founded Understand Us; a non-profit whose mission is to increase awareness around mental health.  And one t-shirt, one cookie, one keynote at a time, Jim is normalizing the conversation and removing the stigma around speaking up about our internal struggles.
