The answer is 1 and 2 Peter! This week I talk (a little) about the history of 1 & 2 Peter, how the gospel is preached to the dead (from 1 Peter 3:18–20; 4:6 and Doctrine and Covenants 138), and I interview Hayley to learn more about trials and joy! In the interview with Hayley I mention two conference talks. One is about The Immediate Goodness of God By Elder Kyle S. McKay from the April 2019 General Conference, and the other I was a bit more fuzzy on. I said there was a quote in it with something about "what are you willing to give up in this life for the next life". The actual quote is: "Do we have the faith “not [to] be healed” from our earthly afflictions so we might be healed eternally?" from Has The Days of Miracles Ceased by Elder Donald L. Hallstrom.
