Love is a decision to care about and commit yourself to the person you have chosen as your spouse, until death parts you. It takes more than feeling to build a house, a happy, healthy marriage and family. It takes commitment. The word “build” implies effort, hard work, laboring at a task. Feelings are not enough, they must be expressed in hard work, and you need wisdom to know what to do, what actions to invest your efforts in. Last week, we looked at some of the wisdom from Proverbs for husbands, this week, we are going to look at some of what Proverbs says to wives.
