Our guest on this 30th episode is Monte Scott Leeper, a Registered Architect for 33 years, who is certified to practice in all fifty United States and currently licensed and concentrating in New York State. Mr. Leeper is the principal of his architectural firm, Monte Scott Leeper, Architect, P.C., which has performed professional services on over 4000 commercial and residential projects, including:Monte Scott Leeper has been published over 1500 times in his newspaper columns, “Ask the Expert” and “Ask the Architect,” in 30 newspapers with a weekly column over the past 29 years, 45,000 times in all. He guest-lectures for schools, universities, public libraries, and community centers, fielding questions on the subjects of Renaissance Architecture, Building Construction, Religious Building Design, and Navigating the Permit Process.
Mr. Leeper has presented over 680 Board of Zoning Appeals Cases, served as a professional witness more than 50 times, and has been honored to serve on the Nassau County Planning Commission-Open Space and Parks Advisory Board- setting public policy on a $300 Million Metropolitan Planning budget. He serves on the Rockville Centre, N.Y. Architectural Review Board, as Vice President of the Long Island American Institute of Architects, and Vice President of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Leeper is also a Certified Federal and New York City EPA Asbestos Investigator.
