I’m alive and encouraged today. There’s something in the air. It feels like a fresh start. I’m glad to have you with us in 2018.

Let’s see what the New Year holds for us!

With a new beginning comes the opportunity to design something without prejudice, without limitations, without someone saying, “We’ve never done it that way before.”

Let me ask you a few questions as we begin the new year:

1. What dreams or plans have you given up on or dismissed as being impossible or unreachable?
2. What deeply inspired ideas have you talked about, contemplated, maybe even begun to act on, but eventually filed them away because of “reality”?
3. What if you could write your own story – a new and promising story – with nothing of your past having the power to stop you. What would that story be?
4. If you were to design your “perfect life” or your “perfect year” or even your “perfect day” what would it look like?
5. If you could travel anywhere you wanted to travel, where would it be?
6. If you could work in a field or area you had passion for, what would it be?

I pose these as questions, but really, they are all possibilities.

• You decide who, what, when, where, and how.

It is a new day. You have been given a fresh opportunity to create, to engage, to live, and to lead.
