Firefighters have a long history of telling stories. We call them "war stories"! Often they are told to decompress from a stressful event and sometimes to share knowledge but typically its to get a laugh! Which, when it's done right, accomplishes both of the first two purposes.
Ep. 27 features Nick Baskerville; a Firefighter from Northern Virginia and storyteller on a mission. Nick strives to use storytelling as a tool to deepen the learning experience in the classroom.
