Three— Two Walmart employees in the Chicago area died from the coronavirus, prompting the retailer to adopt additional safety measures in the wake of the pandemic. It's unclear how long either of the employees had the virus. It's also unclear whether COVID-19 was contracted on the job.
Two—The CDC now recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. That means grocery stores and pharmacies. And they say it should be especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.
And number one— The number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Michigan Sunday was about the same as on Saturday, while the number of total deaths from the virus now stands at 617. The hot spot in Michigan for COVID-19 cases remains southeast Michigan. Detroit reported 537 new cases Sunday, bringing the city’s total up to 4,495
